App of the Month: Medscape

WebMD has introduced its new Medscape app for the iPhone.  The free application for physicians and healthcare professionals includes:

·      Drug Database with access to 6,000 brands and generics

·      Drug Interaction Checker which allows up to 30 entries at once for drug interactions

·      Medical News, which provides access to news in over 30 specialties and allows you to save articles to read offline

·      Medscape CME, provides access to quickly complete CME activities and track credits
